Genuine Nissan Accessories Service Drive POP

AI Asset Creation / Print

Brief

The client arrived with a simple ask: put a floor mat on a POP display, simple, physical, product-forward.

Solution

What we sold through was something far more ambitious. A technically immersive approach that put the Nissan All-Season Floor Mat to the test. Bold product photography with a lenticular section showing the mat in action across two distinct scenarios. All assets were pitched to be created using CGI.

Pivot

Mid-project, the client issued an initiative: Execute this entirely in AI. That changed everything and accelerated what was possible. We ended up with a fully AI-generated campaign for the Nissan All-Season Floor Mat Accessory.

Process

Step 01 – Ideation

CHAT GPT: Scenario Sprints

This is where the real creative fun began. I brainstormed scenarios and instantly visualizing them using Chat GPT. The mat being tested in every imaginable way.

Step 02 – Production

Runway:
Building the
 Base Image

Translating the selected scenarios into product accurate imagery required a completely new workflow. A straight swap failed, requiring a ground-up rebuild from a clean still reference. This was where we transfered to Runway AI to ensure product accuracy.

APPROACH ABANDONED

PHASE A

Approach 1 Fails

Attempted a direct product swap from the Chat GPT generated scenarios into Runway. The model couldn’t maintain product accuracy while swapping the mat. The workflow was not viable.

NEW FOUNDATION

PHASE B

Approach 2 Start From Scratch

Rebuilt from zero using a still reference. Generated a clean base floor mat image. No props, no elements, just the mat at the desired camera angle, ready for product correction.

PROMPT APPROACHES

PHASE C

Add the Wave

Introduced a wave to the floor mat to demonstrate material’s flexibility. More challenging than expected, I iterated through four distinct prompting approaches before arriving at a workable result.

Step 03 — PRECISION

78 Images.
One Perfect
Base.

Tedious, methodical, and fast. Area by area, cross-referencing the real product, the mat was rebuilt to 100% accuracy. Using Photoshop to composit the best parts from each generated frame into a single product correct base image.

Step 04 – Scene Building

Adding the Props

With a product correct base locked in, it was time to bring each scenario to life. Layer by layer, prop by prop, composited from the best of every generation batch.

PHASE A

Prop Generating

One prompt at a time. Introduced elements incrementally. Taking what worked from each batch and compositing forward.

~50–100 images per scene

PHASE B

Spill Scene 1

Muddy mess with pouring liquid. Chaos on the mat surface all contained by the high wall design.

PHASE C

Spill Scene 2

Second variation of the mess scenario. Targeting the families

Step 05 – The Hang Tag

CAD +
Blender +
Runway

With the third AI asset, a hang tag detail shot, I introduced a new method. Real CAD data. A rough 3D render. A breakthrough workflow.

PHASE A

Source the CAD

Connected with the product specialist. Obtained the official CAD file for the KICKS All-Season Floor Mat.

PHASE B

Set the Stage in Blender

Established camera angle, lens, and key light. Full art direction control within a 3D environment. Rendered a clay (untextured) model.

PHASE C

Generate & Composite

Ran multiple generation batches. Composited the best elements in Photoshop into the final hang tag asset.

Final Deliverable

Service
Drive POP.
Delivered.

A fully AI-generated product campaign. Three distinct AI assets, two spill scene and one close-up hang tag detail. Assembled into a Service Drive POP display that places the Nissan All-Season Floor Mat as the hero.
